I have both bikes 1983 NH 650 & 1985 Sabre 700.
The Sabre is more powerful and heavier.
The Nighthawk has plenty of power and has better handling.
The Sabre´s V4 motor sounds better (stock pipes on both)
but the power curve on the 650 is broader.

I prefer to ride the NH especially when carrying a passenger.
The NH is also better for touring, it has higher gearing.

I like to ride the Sabre when I want to accelerate fast.

Both good bikes, but the NH is better!
