Daytona 675 Fuel tank residue

Hey! Just bought my new D675 triple, I love it! There are some things that are perplexing to me though. I noticed upon filling my fuel tank for the first time, that around the inlet and in the tank there is a strange coating that seems to be pealing away from the inside of the tank...what is this? Does anyone else have this proble? The coating is whit-ish and reveals the graphite grey color of my bike in areas that it is pealed away. Will this harm my fuel injectors, clog fuel filters?
