Just bought 06 Scrambler. Rode demo today and bought. Pick up tomorrow for first real ride. I used to ride a 500 Trophy and a 650 back in ´68. I really like the 06 except for the puffy-sounding exhaust. I miss the old Triumph sound. Anyone know if the Scrambler silencer is packed with spark-arrester stuff? Might it be safely removed for road riding? Would it void the warranty? Are there any aftermarket silencers for it? and, does anyone know what the bike sounds like with other than stock equipment?
