Ok, I just took out the variator washer from the front pulley. That helped tramendously. I had already had the performance package put on it,(header pipe, clutch weights, jetting). Before removing the variator washer, I was able to achieve approx. 38mph on a good day. Now I am able to reach speeds in excess of 45mph. One more thing I would like to do is replace the muffler system. The CPI Oliver City 50 comes with a huge stainless steel muffler and I think it is losing a lot of back pressure. Do you know of a better performing muffler that will bolt up to the frame for this scooter? At the same time, I would like to try and keep it somewhat quiet as the original muffler is quite loud and going through town draws too much attention if you know what I mean!!! Thanks so much for your help!!
