I´ve owned a piaggio X8 for about year. It´s a nice looking bike and very comfortable on long journeys. Excellent luggage space for shopping and gym kit. You can just about squeeze 70mph out of it and the fuel consuption is ok. However, there are few problem. At speed the wind is very noisey because of the positioning of the windshield - it blows straight in your face, very annoying. There is also a problem with starting after very wet weather. I don´t think these bikes were built for the Britsh climate. In all very disapointed with the bikes reliabilty. Will be looking to change it, once it gets going again.
