After all these years, I finally test rode a RK today, and what a treat it was. I am looking at a 99 FLHRCI. I never fully appreciated what a great bike it is. Appeared to be stock except for Tour Pack, after market pipes (no hi flow a/c), and a little more chrome (and in need of a complete cleaning and polish). It ran great with good rubber at approx. 14500 miles on the clock. Are there any ghosts in the closet to be aware of? I am hoping that a goup of experts might be willing to aleart me to any cautions specific to the RK. TIA and ride safe. Frank Baton Rouge |
