I have the same problem and the dealer told me it is due to the probe. I wrote to Ducati USA about it and they told me to try another dealer. I just received the recall notice (wiring not properly installed) and I will profit of it to try another dealer.
My bike shows 4,500 mi. and is 1 year old. The most annoying thing is that some days it runs perfectly. I´ll keep you posted.
