Cargo capacity question: Bike: 2007 BMW GS-Adventure How much weight, per side case, including gear strapped to the top of the case is OK. My concern is the durability of the cases and brackets. At present I have equal weight of 42lbs each side case. I will all 20 lbs in camp gear that will straddle the rear tail bag and rest on either side case. This bag will be lashed to the bike frame, not the side cases. Overall cargo, including tank bag, tail bag and rider in full gear is approximately 325lbs. Anyone have an opinion or experience with this question? Thanks! David S |
