Hello, im a new rider. I am getting my bike license in a couple months. I am only interested in 1 style...........Enduro dual purpose riding and motorcycles. I am down to 2 bikes. 2006 KLX250 and Suzuki DR 650. As the larger bike is heavier and can be lowered down shorter than the 250. The 250 is a bit cheaper light etc. but a little taller. I am confident I can handle each bike. I am more interested in 2006 KLX 250, looks and sounds a little more of road worthy than the bigger 650. My concern is that I want to ride it in the city to work each day in the summer, would this bike have enough pep to get me around the city safely, no real high speed but may need to open it up here and there on the roads and boulevards. Can this bike safely keep up with city traffic? I plan on 60% road and 40% off road. Anyone out there that may have purchased this bike already, and would like to share any info on it. I want another real\\personal opinion on it than just the brochure I got and keep finding over the internet. Any feedback on the 2006 KLX 250 would be great.
