I have 3 resources for this bike regarding maintenance.. a PDF, A HAYNES Manual, and the OWNERS manual Based on these 3, and a seasoned biker with the 500 vulcan, I get 4 different numbers as to when the bike chain is to be lubricated, assuming normal wear and tear. 300 miles, 500 miles, 200 miles, and the my biker buddy says 2000 miles (YES, 2000 miles) anyone else like to throw a number at this? The chain of course is an endless o ring style. Thanks Guys... |
