It is definitely not the wind, alot of 900 owners have the same noise and are %&#!¤ off about it! It´s a great bike, but I would never had bought my ´07 900 LT, if I had known it would produce such a noise. It occurs just at that nice secondary highway crusing speed, 80 to 95 kph. As you are trying to enjoy the ride and scenery, the noise is almost deafening.
I´m going to try the belt adjustment soon, I´ve never seen a drive belt installed so tight.
As for Kawasaki, they don´t care, or they would have come out with a fix by now!
Enjoy the ride, but don´t forget your ear plugs.
