I guess I´m one of the lucky one´s, took delevery of mine on the 15th of July, and haveclose to the 1500 miles, and have had no problems what so ever, I think your bike is running way to rich, and gasoline is getting into the oil. Have you checked the oil drain plug to make sure it isn´t leaking there, I would say the running rich might be filling up the capacity so that it overflows a little, I get 52 to 53 mpg everytime I top it off, so the 45mpg that your getting is a strong indicator, that it is running way to rich, and yes I would go to another dealer, I have never had any problem of ideling or dying either, I do put premium fuel as the book says to do, so that might have some bearing on dying and not running right.
