I picked up my blue/silver on May 5th and have almost 4000 miles on it. I ride with a group that has 2 goldwings and a kawasaki vooyager and keep up witht hemno problem. To be honest, did not follow the guidelines of the break-in period and have had no problems. The only problems I have had was the nuts and bolts not being tightened. Lost a windshield attachment bolt and a backrest bolt that was stripped. I would go through and tighten all nuts/bolts with a 10mm. As for mpg, I ride about 50 miles each eay to work on back roads and do between 65-75 mph and average about 50 mpg. Love the bike and get a lot of looks from passersby and other bikers. Good luck and safe riding
