I have had my 900 Classic LT for 2600km. Overall, I am happy with the bike. Decent power and handles well. I´m not getting the fuel economy as you had described. I´m getting around 250 miles per tank before the fuel light comes on.
I havent had any problems with the throttle sticking but I do have a grinding noise at any coasting speed. I took it to the dealer and they said is the flywheel. I thought it could be the belt or my front wheel disc is out of round. There were other people have the same issue. I just have to wait and see (they should be the experts). Kawasaki appears to know the problem but have no solution.
