I have 350 miles on a 2007 Vulcan 900 Classic LT. It has a knock at idle that seem to go away with increased RPM. The service tech at the dealership says he can´t hear it, it´s there. There is a high pitch engine sound that increases with RPM. The sound gets a much deeper tone upon deceleration.
