Electrical problem?

Loving the bike and riding a ton this summer. Last couple of times I rode the bike it did some weird electrical thing. Stalled out and turned the key - no juice. Wouldn´t start and I know the battery charge is good. The clock reset too, which makes me think it´s some kind of electrical short. When I hit the starter button, it clicks and the lights go out. Seems to fix the problem when I set the bike on the standard and put back upright. I´m going to check all the connections to make sure none are loose. Anyone have a similar experience? Any suggestions?
