I actually asked the dealer about this issue, they said that the FI light is on when the key is on but the engine is off. kinda like a car when you have the accessory function on on the ignition. nothing to worry about unless it is on when you are riding. as for the fuel guage, i was told that as long as your light gold fuel light isnĀ“t on, you still have gas. the guage is not super accurate. hope this helps
