SXV450 is too low geared for racing with standard sprocket on rear. Change rear sprocket to 43 or 44 treeth. This makes 1st & 2nd gear more usable and stops the SXV peaking in revs prematurely.
Also be aware that if the oil tank is overfilled, the excess oil is dumped into the air box which in turn leaks down the cylinder walls. DO NOT OVERFILL.
