Just bought my new 2006 BanditS also. Yeah, it does run a little rough until completely warmed up. I just finished my 2nd tank of gas on regular grade of 87 octane, which is all the manual calls for. Next tankful I´m going to try premium grade of 91 octane. After pulling the 4 plugs because of the rough idling when cold, I notice a black soot on the plugs. I believe this may bebecause of too cold of plugs. Maybe going up one heat range might solve the rough cold idling problem??
