I am in need of some help. Mechanically inclined however never been inside a 4 stroke before. I have a 06 Drz 400. 27k on the motor. Its been my daily driver for a few years now and I´m starting to get some smoke out the tail pipe. Performance has slowed a bit and engine feels choked. My thought is rings and valve stem seals. I´ll prob have to adjust the lifters as wellsince I´m in there. The thing is its my daily driver. So I cant rip it open and see for sure since I´ll have to put it back together. Be great to investigate and figure it out for myself although i just don´t have thr time. Also I don´t have a garage and limited tools. I´m not really sure what I should buy. Wondering if in should Go for a complete top end kit or if in should go another route. Also... I´ll only have a weekend to get this done and I´m sure i could figure it out although I´d like some one to help. Especially if u have the required tools. Hammer and socket for valve springs could be bad. Let me know
