I have the 2005 tuneup guide. I use the MOTUL 2 stroke oil at about 15 bucks a litre canadian. (three tanks of gas) My bike runs like sh*t at most throttle positions and I have been told to mix at 50:1 (its supposed to be 33:1) to stop the oil blow and also to go to the rebuild kit that came with it and change the main jet down one size from original, up one slot on the needle. Then reposition the airscrew to 2 turns out. This will lean out the fuel significantly. You must then check the plug every half hour or so and adjust it so the plug is brownish grey......I am trying all this this weekend.
