Brand new 500 (06) with less than 300 miles, leaked oil, problem was a bad o ring seal on the return, the o ring looked to have molding problems and should have been rejected, apparently Suzuki is aware but just waiting for returns. If you spring an oil leak this may be the culpret, it is deep in the engine so be prepared $$ if you have gone outside the warranty period, it is possible that damaged seals could hold up for a while. Bike is now in shop with electrical problems, blowing fuses, extremely dangerous on LA freeways. Has only one fuse for the entire electrical system makes finding the problem huge more big $$ if out side warranty. I am writting this to notify potential buyers to beware. I still believe Suzuki to be a good bike just not this one.
