I have only been riding for 5 months. My first bike was an 06 Honda 599. Great bike for a beginner and it taught me a lot. 4 months to the day, I decided I wanted my dream bike, the 750. Once I threw my leg over, I realized I had made the best decision in my life. The bike is comfortable (soft seat, good position, adjustable foot pegs), sounds throaty, looks great, and is %&#!¤ fast!! And that was just the beginning. Riding the 750 instills an awesome sense of confidence in your riding ability. The handling, steering, power delivery, and pure riding enjoyment surpasses any of the bikes I have sampled in my short time riding (R1, CBR600RR, 599, R6, Busa, 6R). This bike is totally happy riding around town at low speeds and manuevers easily. But take it into a long straight away or a twisty back road and you will discover what this bike is really made of. Full throttle, 2nd through 5th gear, and my friends R1 with Hindle exhaust and power commander could not keep up. Don´t mess around. The 2006 GSX-R 750 will make you fall in love.
