Hey Patrick, Im the same weight as you and for riding on the street this bike works fine for me just the way it is right out of the box. The way I judge this is by the amount of chassis sag you have when you rest your body weight on the bike, my chassis sag is about one inch. Other than that your suspention is completely adjustable, unless you are road racing? the suspention should work good for you. This is a race bike with lights and to push its limits are hard to do, esp. on the street. On the last page of your owners manual is the Index-page 3-27 \
