I bought one new in ´77 and convinced the lady at the DMV it was street legal, even though the title said it wasn´t. No. they weren´t street legal, as they didn´t have horns or brake lights or parking lights or mirrors or legal tires. :)

I loved it and won some trophies racing it. I did blow the tranny, once. My friend and I fixed it up relatively cheap. Have fun!
