Hi Selby:
Just bought a new 2K6 VStar 1100 Classic with the Silverado package this past weekend, got my license this a.m., and took it for its first run about 4 hrs. ago....on my lunch hour at work! :)

Anyways, according to the manual, the fuel tank capacity is 17.0L (4.49 US gal), and the reserve gas amount is 4.5L (1.19 US gal).

Don´t know what kind of gas mileage to expect yet, it´s only got 11 mi. on it (then I had to go back to work) :(

The dealer said, depending on driving conditions, that I could expect anywhere from 50-60 mi. per gal, assuming I follow the factor maint. schedule, break-in procedures, etc.

I´ll let you know how much miles I get out of my 1st tankful....
