I have a new stratoline s with the new cobra pipes and the fi 2000 r system. I have a back fire when you blip the throttle and when you let off the throttle when shifting gears. yahama says it is the air induction system causing this problem. They are not recomending removing the AIS saying it might overhaet the engine? Cobra is not sure what to do. Can anybody help? Has any one have an idea how to remove the Air induction system and if it would hurt the bike?
