Idle down

Just picked up an 2006 CRF 100F for my grandson. I changed spark plug, set valves to specs, cleaned jets and passages in carb a couple of times. The rpm´s drop off slowly when closing the throttle. I checked cable and the barell in carb snaps closed,so no cable drag. Any ideas or suggestions?
