Hello from the southern Oregon coast. My son´s 2006 250x has been riden only a few hours in the last three years after a top end rebuild. Today he started it up and it wanted to run way too hot. It has its coolent and ran fine a month ago when last started. My assumption is that somehow the timing changed, but I would like to know what would cause that? I have not been in the engine, is it a pain to reset? Any knowledge is appreciated.
