i think i killed my bike

i think i killed my bike

the idle screw broke so i had to adjust the idle manually.so i took off the fairing and the tool box unplugged the red plug and took off that pointy thing that was in the way to getting to the idle screw adjusted the idle tryed to put back that pointy thing but couldnt get it down enough to thread the screw,so with a screw driver pushed down whatever was inside where that pointy thing belonged got it back on then tryed to start it with plugging that plug back in and ever since then she´s been dead please help tell me what a dumbass iam first then what i have to do to fix it
