some are but then again some are not. The 06 CBR1000RR was a mid life make over by Honda. By that i mean that the cbr normally has a 4 year life span. The keep the bike mostly the same and only tweak smaller areas. However on the 06 Honda revamped 60% of the bike. The the frame if different, the engine a lot of the engine is different. The exhaust if different. Transmission has new gears. If you know what parts you are looking for then some of them are interchangeable.Just be careful when it comes to engine parts and and make sure you check.
