| They were making this bike from 1986 to 2005 or so without any major changes, so it is pretty much the same. It fairly reliably from what I gather, but most common problems with them electrically is failing stator (which prevents battery from charging, and it is labour intensive repair to make (cheap on parts, however)), and burning out voltage regulator (it sits under the battery, and gets cooked; people usually fix it by locating the regulator outside to give it proper cooling). |
