Hi I live in maine and I bought an 85 honda sabre vf1100s and rode it to kansas and then to houston, my engine seized and my bike is now locked up at my friends private property. Im back in maine now and when I originally bought the bike, it came with high miles but it also cam with an extra 85 vf1100s engine with only 11000 miles on it. If i bought an 84 honda vf1100s and wanted to switch out the old 84 engine with the new 85 engine, would it work even though the bike is an 84 and the engine is an 85?
