85 Honda V65 VF1100S Sabre discussion forum:never had a problem like this before |

| i have a 84 vf1100s. the problem is that i get 320 deg of rotation from the crankshaft. i have looked up into the belly and the rods etc all move like they should. this all started when the bike got dropped off the center stand onto its right side. it then made some noise but that quieted for a while then it came back and the last time i parked it it never started again. i have had the clutch cover off all good there. the alt cover off - looks normal there too. the forward head has a lightly galded cam over the intake valves in the #4 cyl. i got a spare set of heads and gaskets just in case. is this common? has this ever happened to anyone else here? |
