Ron, In Calif. you can´t buy gas without ethanol. What I did was put Vance & Hines strip kits in my carbs. This fattens up the mixture so the ethanol cannot lean it out too much. Ethanol leans out the mixture too much therefore causing extreme engine temperatures and eventually engine damage. The other plus is the stock carb jetting is for smog only. Its too lean to start with. Try it, Man what a ride! Jay
