I too have V65 Sabre that I purchased new. I´ve only got 17,000 miles on the odometer. I had not ridden or started it in years when I decided to resurrect it last year. I put a fresh battery and gas and it ran . . . for a little while. Then I could not get it started. I trailered it to an individual that got it running but it was still stumbling. I discovered that it runs MUCH better on 100% gasoline ie, no ethanol. I have since run several tanks through it and it is just as strong as it was when I bought it new. What a thrill and pleasure it is to be on two wheels again. Gotta be careful though. I´m 62 now and as you know this bike can hit 100 in no time flat. Good luck with yours.
