Hello everyone.
I am new to the group, so let me introduce myself. I am an iraqi war veteran, army. I´m a single dad, and have a great daughter.
I have a 1984 V65 Sabre, and I love it, but I have had a problem with it. Hopefully someone can give me some direction. The bike is currently at a shop that is owned by a friend I work with, and he claims the issue is the magneto. The bike started intermittently, and then finally just stopped starting. Turns over great, and gets gas, but wont catch. The instrument cluster had worked intermittently as well, and I figured the issue might be up in the handelbar area, a short or shunt or something. The wiring diagram looks like an overview of new york city, so I have no clue what to do there, I guess I´m looking for someone who has some experience with the machine, and perhaps can help a v4 brother out. Let me know and thanks in advance for any input. Send me a hankie to dry my tears if you can.
