1975 KE Vs G5 WHATS THE DIFFERENTS?

Hello I have a 1975-76 KE 100cc and i was wondering whats the differents between a KE and a G5??? They look the same to me! Also i have a 1978 KM 100cc parts bike and i noticed that its engine looks alittle different then the one in my KE but looks like it would work in my KE. The difference is minimal, exhaust, sparkplug on angle instead of straight upand down, different head fin design, and different air filter and engine coverings. but the difference is very minimal almost the same. why is there 2 kinds of 100cc engines and is 1 better then the other? also are the parts interchangeable like can i take the head of one and put it on the other? also 2 is one engine more powerful then the other????
