sounds like starvation to me, does it run smooth at 35mph or lumpy etc you say he has checked the carb? how? has he turned the mixture screw in or out? if he has screw back in gently till stopped and back out 2 turns and run again, a fuel leak and then sealed will not cause speed drop unless it´s running rough. also let me know what the engine revs sound like at 35mph as you call it, does it sound like it needs another gear? or low revving now? |
