| Just picked up my ´06 Road Glide last Friday...My 4th HD...without doubt the best for me...6´0 265Lbs... I´ve read reviews that say the power is wimpy...but this moves me as fast as I need to go! Haven´t done any serious freeway wheelin´ but up to 65MPH it´s been a blast. Gears are "back-cut" a little more than previous years and mine takes bumpin´ the gas a little to get it into Nuetral from 1st...Dealer says that will go away around 500 miles...which won´t be long as I looking forward to getting on it any time I get the chance! Got mine in Black Cherry..but all colors look great,,, the cruise control is a great touch,,, far better than the old thumb switch on my last bike... I´m diggin´ mine...added Screamin Eagle Exhust with the download... sounds great,,,the cars hear me comin´ but I can still hear the CD / Radio Rockin.... the MP3 feature is a gas too...got 3 Galactic albums on a single disc... hasn´t been outta the player since I left the dealer .... Do yourself a favor... Ride one ... I think you´ll buy it! Dave in Niceville, FL |
