Whatever your owner´s guide says, there you go. As far as performing this on your own, if you are capable, have the required place to take the front wheel and fender off... and have good torque wrenches and the required consummables, I would get the full maintenance bok and do it. Oh and yes, our Springer front ends require a bit more TLC, have heard that the bearings need to be paid some close attaneion.
