Idle issue |

I am restoring a 1977 CB750A. I will rebuild the carbs. I have an issue with the higher speed idle circuit. I believe my vacuum solenoid is okay. I can not get 12 volts to the solenoid. I have the bike on the lift now. I have turned the key on and put the bike in low or drive and I feel I should be getting 12 volts to the solenoid valve. Test light showed nothing. I have another issue that I wanted to know if it may be related to this. The light on the instruments that show in Park does not light when the parking brake is applied and wheel locked with brake. Anybody got an idea where to look. I am thinking about taking the cover off the rear brake assembly to see if there are some contacts that are bad/ Thanks for your help |
