I think if you look where your foot brake pedal connects into your frame you will see a small box like thing with a cable running out the top of it.
It is actually a parking brake, since when not running you have no drag to hold it in place when parked. Trace that cable up till you find the knob on the end of it. Should be on your right side at the end of your seat.
