Voltage Regulator 12v lead routing

Voltage Regulator 12v lead routing

The 12v wire was snagged and broken about 8 inches from the Voltage Regulator.I am trying to trace this wire to either splice it or replace it.I cannot see where it terminates under the seat.Any help would be appreciated.
