Advice on where to find parts |

Hi All, I am new to this discussion group, and looking for advice. I have a ´73 Yamaha TX 500 that has ~9k miles on it, in very good shape, except is hasn´t been started since 1984! I am going to attempt to bring it back to life. I looked in the fuel tank and it was scary. There seems to be rust and paint chips in the tank. I am looking for advice on cleaning out the fuel system and the crankcase. Also wondering what might be a good source for parts, like brakes (disc and drum), cables etc. Thanks very much for your help. |
