Symptom: engine on, neutral, pull clutch lever, rev gas, shift from neutral to 1st, begin blending clutch... then... as soon as I start blending, the tachometer drops to zero and the machine refuses to allow power to drive the back tire. It almost dies unless I pull the clutch back in and rev the gas. If I drop the clutch quickly and rev the gas hard it catches for a second and then dies. However, I was able to drop the clutch quickly while revving hard, multiple times until the machine seemed to finally hiccup. Upon this occurrence, the machine allowed the engineĀ“s power to drive the back tire and the tachometer and engine functioned normally as I shifted through the gears in acceleration. However, upon turning the engine off, the same sequence of events occurred.
My first thought is that this is an electrical issue... but, I really have no idea. Looking for leads as to what the issue actually is?
