These bikes ar ex-army surplus, som of them were never used. The present-day quality is 110% depending on the quality of the work done by the restorer. Some are very good, some are very bad. I have owned a properly rebuilt bike for 5 years, and have done lengthly trips on it, including the Alps with very few problems. I also have another sidecart bike for long-distance H
