with the KZ 250, one down is 1st gear, and then up from there is 2nd to 5th, if your tying to find neutral again, just tap right down the gears with the ignition on (and clutch in ofcourse) and then up one, if the neutral light goes on, you´ve found it, if it doesn´t, then tap down a couple of times again and up one, if this doesn´t work then try to work out if its a loose clutch or gear problem, though the above should work for what you wish to do, to get to neutral form any gear just slowly tap down the gears with the clutch on, you should be fine
