I am wondering what the most likely cause of the lost compression in my motor is I´m guessing it´s ring wear as the clock is at 30,000 km amd the nominal rating for the compression is 8.9 but this bike is showing a value of 7.4 and is that a pretty good or good or just fair reading for ma bike with this distance on the clock? I just want to know where would the rating have to be for me to be concerened about having to do a ring job etc on the motor ot perhaps the timingchain etc is involved in all this? the bike appears to be running okay with little or basically no smoke when started. waiting for your answer.
