1980 KZ250 LTD Color Question

Hey folks,

I´ve got a 1980 KZ250 in silver. Wondering if this was ever a color option on this bike, or if it´s aftermarket color. Title says silver.

Purchased it at 1100 mi. from the second owner. Previous owner had been a collector, I was told. Interested to know if anyone´s ever encountered the bike in this color before.
